Supporting Vocations
The Marian Servants are committed to supporting the vocational call of all people, with special emphasis on those who are discerning or currently serving in the priesthood, religious life and the diaconate.
Scholarships
Our community supports the ongoing spiritual formation of the priests of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston through sponsorship of IPF Alumni Retreats and/or their annual retreat at the House of Prayer in Clearwater, FL . We also set aside scholarship funds for priests and seminarians to support their formation as spiritual directors through the Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence® School of Spiritual Direction.

Spiritual Direction
Our certified spiritual directors participate in events organized by our local Vocations Office which are offered to young adults who are discerning their call.
In addition, we are occasionally called upon by religious communities to lead Ignatian retreats for their members.
We also support our local Office of the Diaconate in providing ongoing spiritual direction to men and their wives who are in formation for the Permanent Diaconate.
The Marian Servants offers spiritual support for many other lay people who are pursuing holiness for themselves and for their family.

Mentoring
Office of Vocations
The Marian Servants offers mentoring to discerners as they received instruction on prayer and St. Ignatius of Loyola’s Discernment of Spirits.
Diaconate
In addition, we have several members who are involved with the Permanent Diaconate. Mentoring couples, as well as providing individual spiritual direction, has been a service that the Marian Servants offer.
